Allergic diathesis (atopic eczema) | An inflammatory skin condition with variable appearance but including dryness, itching, redness, scaling and vesicles. See also Pruritis, Asthma, Rhinitis/rhinorrhoea-allergic Skin prick allergen testing or allergen specific immunoglobulin E with food allergens, inhalants, animal danders, or other allergens, if indicated. Food allergy is identified by appropriate diets under specialist supervision. Skin biopsy if severe, atypical, or if diagnosis uncertain. |
