Clinical diagnosis.

A multisystem disorder with dominant inheritance, characterised by multiple cutaneous and deep neurofibromas together with café au lait spots and axillary freckling.

Malignant degeneration of neurofibromas can occur.

Type 1

Type 2

  • Acoustic neuroma
