FBC and blood film; seeĀ Iron deficiency.

Fresh or occult blood

Endoscopic colorectal biopsy - lesion and/or mucosa, if indicated.

Anal fissure

Rectal trauma

Diverticulitis

Colorectal carcinoma

Polyps

Vascular malformation

  • Angiodysplasia

Inflammatory bowel disease

Haemorrhoids

Melaena
