	Diagnosis is based on history, physical examination and diagnostic imaging. Exposure may have been minimal, remote in time and indirect. Lung and/or plural biopsy may be indicated.
Interstitial lung disease	Assessment of respiratory function, blood gases.
Lung carcinoma
Mesothelioma
