| Application | Monitoring renal dialysis patients. Investigation of dementia, osteodystrophy or unexplained anaemia in renal dialysis patients. May also be elevated during TPN in neonates. |
| Interpretation | Aluminium levels should not exceed 2.0 µmol/L in dialysis patients. |
