Application

Diagnosis of autoimmune ovarian dysfunction.

Interpretation

In patients with type 1 polyglandular endocrine syndrome the presence of ovarian antibodies is correlated with ovarian failure, however ovarian antibodies are non-specific and may also be present in Addison's disease and various menstrual disorders.
